The Harbor Star is a turn of the century home offering safe, clean, comfortable getaways for the quilter, scrapbooker, stamper and other artists  in the resort City of East Tawas, MI on the Sunrise Side of Lake Huron.

There is plenty of room  for 8 with "play" stations, large cutting and ironing stations and smaller individual cut/iron stations at your "play" station  There are 4 bedrooms accommodating 8 guests; 3 bedrooms on the upper level and 1 on the lower level.  The lower level bath has a shower and the upper level bath has a claw foot tub and shower.  The kitchen is fully equipped for you to prepare your meals and the dining table seats 8.  All linens are provided. 

Take a break in the gathering room on leather reclining sofas or outdoors under the gazebo and large covered porch.  The flowering vines, perennials, grapevines and wildlife in the several gardens are bound to inspire your next great work of art!  The beautiful harbor and beaches of Lake Huron are a few blocks away!

The Harbor Star is walking distance to downtown East Tawas where you will find dining, shopping, ice cream, and a movie theater. Shop Hop your way!  Stop in Pinconning at the Bittersweet Quilt Shop,  BayView Calicos in AuGres, the Sunshine Quilt Shop  in Oscoda and  the Hollyhock Quilt Shoppe in Harrisville, MI!    Gift Certificates Available for The Harbor Star.
